Residents Lament Poor Condition of Captain Downs Road in Gboko, Call for Urgent Repairs

Residents of Gboko, Benue State, are expressing growing concern over the deteriorating condition of Captain Downs Road. The road, which was renovated during the administration of former Governor Samuel Ortom, has reportedly fallen into disrepair barely a year after he left office, prompting urgent calls for action.

BENUE info-pedia is urging the current Executive Governor to take swift measures to remedy the situation and restore the road to a motorable state. A local resident, Mr. Terrence Atoh, highlighted the issue, lamenting that most roads constructed under the Ortom administration within the town have also suffered similar neglect, describing their current state as deplorable.
