Surveyor John Tondu has donated the sum of N10 million to St. Francis Catholic Church, Daudu, to support the development of the church. The philanthropist, who was represented by Hon. Jacob Tarkende, made the donation during the church’s fundraising thanksgiving held today.
While making the contribution, Surv. Tondu called on the people to continue supporting President Bola Tinubu and Governor Hyacinth Alia in their reelection bids. He advised the public to carefully examine the records of those seeking public office and choose leaders who genuinely have the interest of the people at heart.
The surveyor also warned against bringing back politicians who had previously been given the opportunity to lead but failed to meet the expectations of the people. He urged residents not to “reinforce failure” by supporting candidates sponsored by politicians whose time in office did not produce the desired results.
Surv. Tondu further stated that he would be on the ground to mobilize support for President Tinubu, Governor Alia and other candidates he believes truly have the interest of the Ihyarev Nation and Benue State at heart.
