The Management and Directors of the Benue State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) have issued a strong disclaimer refuting allegations circulating in the public domain, particularly those attributed to Asom Jerry, concerning events at the recently concluded 10th edition of the Made in Benue (MIB) Show.

The statement categorically denies claims that any Director or member of SUBEB Management was stranded, denied access, or treated with disregard during the event. It emphasizes that the Made in Benue Show was not an official SUBEB function, and therefore no protocol arrangement prioritized or placed any individual above another.

Directors who attended the event did so voluntarily, in solidarity and support of the Executive Chairman, Dr. Grace D. Adagba, who was honoured with the Woman of the Year award. Mr. Peter Adagba, seated among the Directors, was present solely as a relative of the Executive Chairman to offer personal support, and not in any capacity to exercise authority or influence.

The Board further clarifies that Mr. Peter Adagba neither issues directives to SUBEB staff or Directors nor interferes in the administrative or operational affairs of the institution.
