Professor Ornguga Receives Handover Note from Permanent Secretary, Barrister Thomas

Professor Timothy Yangien Ornguga, the newly appointed Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice and Public Order, received a handover note from Barrister Thomas Ese, the outgoing Permanent Secretary, in a formal ceremony held in Ese’s office.

During the handover, Barrister Ese pledged his unwavering support to Professor Ornguga, famously stating, “I’m your neck and I will position myself very well so you can sit on to function well.” This metaphor underscored Ese’s commitment to serving as a strong foundation for the new Attorney General’s leadership.
