President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will on Saturday, June 27, 2026, commission the Concentrate Plant of Bensono Fruit Processing Company Limited in Benue State.
The landmark agro-processing facility, located at the Industrial Layout in Makurdi, is expected to boost value addition, create jobs, and drive industrial development in the state.
The commissioning ceremony is scheduled to commence at 9:00 a.m.
The Benue Investment and Property Company Limited (BIPC), in a statement signed by its Group Managing Director, Dr. Raymond Asemakaha, extended warm invitations to government officials, development partners, investors, members of the business community, the media, and the general public to witness the historic event.
The project is being highlighted as a key component of Governor Hyacinth Alia’s economic transformation and sustainable industrial growth agenda for Benue State.
