Chief Michael Aondoakaa (SAN), the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for the 2027 Benue State election, on Friday paid a courtesy visit to the residence of former Benue State Commissioner for Education and two-time governorship aspirant, Prof. Dennis Ityavyar.
During the visit, Chief Aondoakaa formally presented his Certificate of Return as the party’s governorship candidate to Prof. Ityavyar.
The PDP candidate expressed profound appreciation for Prof. Ityavyar’s unwavering support and acknowledged his steadfast commitment to the success of the PDP. He assured the former commissioner that if elected governor in 2027, he would not disappoint him or the people of Benue State, pledging to provide purposeful, inclusive, and people-oriented leadership that would accelerate the state’s development.
In response, Prof. Ityavyar congratulated Chief Aondoakaa on his emergence as the PDP governorship candidate. He expressed confidence in his ability to lead the state effectively, describing him as a competent, experienced, and visionary leader capable of providing purposeful leadership and driving sustainable development across Benue State. Prof. Ityavyar also prayed for God’s continued wisdom, strength, and guidance upon Chief Aondoakaa as he prepares for the 2027 election.
Chief Aondoakaa was accompanied on the visit by his running mate, Hon. Oyije Ogbenjuwa.
