The Executive Chairman of Guma Local Government Council, Hon. Maurice Orwough, conducted an inspection today of the ongoing reconstruction of the Guma Local Government Administrative Block at the Council Secretariat in Gbajimba. The project, which is nearing its final stages, marks a significant milestone in the region’s infrastructure development.
The Administrative Block, designed to house the offices of the Chairman, Deputy Chairman, Secretary, Leader of the Legislative Council, and the Legislative Chambers, is now 90% complete. Hon. Orwough also visited the ongoing reconstruction of the Guma Local Government Chairman’s Residence, urging contractors to accelerate their efforts to ensure timely completion.
Expressing satisfaction with the progress, the Chairman highlighted that final touches are currently underway. “The project has now reached 90% completion, with final touches currently ongoing,” he stated. The official commissioning is slated for the coming days, alongside other initiatives and projects spearheaded by Hon. Orwough.
This development underscores the council’s commitment to enhancing administrative efficiency and providing modern facilities for its leadership. Residents and stakeholders eagerly await the official opening, which promises to reflect the ongoing progress under the current administration.
