A woman identified as Mama Idoko has drawn attention in Benue State after reportedly fighting off a massive catfish at River Okpokwu, which she claims attempted to swallow her baby. The dramatic encounter has sparked widespread reactions, with many praising her courage while others question the unusual claim.

The incident is said to have occurred along the River Okpokwu, a local water source frequently used by residents for domestic activities, including drinking and washing.
