At least four people have been confirmed dead following a fresh attack on Edikwu Ankpali community in Apa Local Government Area of Benue State on Sunday evening. The assault, reportedly carried out by armed herdsmen, has reignited concerns over persistent insecurity in the region.

According to a local source, John Anthony Ikwulono, the attackers stormed the community in large numbers and carried out the assault.
