Gafilmgadoki Communication has launched the G-Films Academy 2025 Scholarship, offering 100 creatives from Benue State a fully funded opportunity to break into the film industry. Registration opens from November 10th to 15th, 2025.
The program features a three-month masterclass with all expenses covered—training, materials, and mentorship included. The top 20 participants will secure roles on the academy’s production team, gaining real employment and hands-on experience.
Guest facilitators from Nollywood will lead sessions on acting, screenwriting, script interpretation, and mentorship in the entertainment industry. The academy is also producing a web series and periodic short films, with guaranteed roles for serious members.
Collaboration is key—top Nollywood actors and professionals will work alongside participants, with facilitators like Nyam Terkimbi Terry guiding the journey. “If you commit and work as a team, G-20 members have a real chance to become superstars in Nollywood,” the announcement stated.
