Fire Outbreak Hits Oxnet Pure Water Axis in Akpehe, Makurdi

A fire outbreak was reported on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, around the Oxnet Pure Water axis in Akpehe, Makurdi, the Benue State capital.

According to eyewitness updates shared by Benue Info-pedia, the fire was still raging as of 1:08 PM, with fire service personnel yet to arrive at the scene. Residents in the area have been advised to steer clear of the location to allow unimpeded access for emergency responders.
