Dr. Peter Abayol has emerged as the All Progressives Congress (APC) flag bearer for the Mbagwa State Constituency after recording a massive victory in the party’s primary election.
According to results announced by the party, Abayol polled an impressive 4,453 votes to decisively defeat former Majority Leader, Saater Tiseer, who managed only 197 votes.
The keenly contested primary witnessed overwhelming support for Dr. Abayol, whom party faithful described as enjoying strong grassroots acceptance within the constituency. Supporters who thronged the venue hailed the process as peaceful and transparent.
The outcome is widely viewed as a significant endorsement of Abayol’s political strength and a boost for the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections in the Mbagwa State Constituency.
