Dr. Terungwa Stephen Hwande, Chief Medical Director of the Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BSUTH), has reaffirmed his unwavering loyalty to Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia and the development agenda of the Benue State Government.
In a statement issued by his Media Team, Dr. Hwande made it clear that his commitment remains firmly with the governor’s vision for the state, particularly in delivering quality healthcare services and supporting transformative initiatives. He distanced himself from what the statement described as failed political agendas and unnecessary speculation by certain individuals seeking to drag his name into partisan politics.
The statement emphasised that while some political actors pursue personal interests and switch sides after electoral setbacks, Dr. Hwande has remained steadfast in his dedication to service delivery and the progress of BSUTH. It cautioned individuals, particularly Mr. Asom D Jerry, against peddling unfounded narratives aimed at involving Dr. Hwande in their political calculations.
The Media Team stressed that Dr. Hwande’s loyalty to Governor Alia is not for sale and that he will continue to stand with the administration in building a stronger, healthier, and more prosperous Benue State.
