Chief Michael Kaase Aondoakaa, SAN, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for the 2027 general election in Benue State, has named Dr. Oyije Goodheart Ogbenjuwa (also known as Dr. Oyije Ochaekiti Ogbenjuwa) as his running mate.
The announcement was made on Saturday, with the PDP candidate describing the choice as strategic, particularly aimed at engaging the youths of Benue State.
Dr. Ogbenjuwa, said to be 38 years old, is a former governorship aspirant. His selection is expected to strengthen the ticket as the PDP prepares for the upcoming polls.
This development marks a significant step in the PDP’s efforts to build a formidable team for the 2027 gubernatorial election in Benue State.
