Benue First Lady Extols Governor Alia’s Giant Strides as Joe Jir Leads Thousands in Solidarity Trek for Tinubu/Alia’s Re-Election in 2027

Makurdi stood still on Tuesday as thousands of APC members, political support groups, youths, women, and other stakeholders embarked on a massive solidarity trek in support of the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia in 2027.

The peaceful procession, led by the Benue State Commissioner for Power, Renewable Energy and Transport, Hon. Joseph Ter Jir, proceeded from the First Gate of Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University through major routes in the capital and terminated at the J.S. Tarka Foundation for a grand rally.

Addressing the mammoth crowd, the First Lady of Benue State, Her Excellency Mrs. Scholastica Ben-Sor PhD, extolled the good works of Governor Alia, describing him as God’s gift to Benue State and Nigeria at large. She pledged her support for the administration’s success and encouraged women, youth, and stakeholders to stand by Governor Alia.

The Benue people offered prayers for President Tinubu and Governor Alia while reiterating commitment to the party’s victory in 2027.

Hon. Joe Jir, who led the trek, was commended for his exemplary leadership. The solidarity trek was described as a genuine expression of gratitude for the remarkable achievements recorded by Governor Alia within three years in office.
