Benue APC Announces Official Results of House of Representatives Primaries

The Benue State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the official results of the party’s House of Representatives primary elections held across the state’s federal constituencies.

In a statement issued on Sunday, May 17, 2026, the party confirmed that the primaries, supervised by the National Assembly Primary Election Committee chaired by Alhaji Sa’idu Mahuta, were conducted peacefully and in accordance with the Electoral Act and APC guidelines.

The following aspirants emerged victorious in their respective federal constituencies:

– Gboko/Tarka — Hon. Mrs. Regina Akume
– Makurdi/Guma — Engr. Christopher Ikper
– Buruku — Hon. Gideon Inyom
– Gwer East/Gwer West — Engr. Terhemba Nongo
– Kwande/Ushongo — Prof. Kohol Iornem
– Katsina-Ala/Ukum/Logo — Solomon Wombo
– Vandeikya/Konshisha — Chief Engr. Livinus Tsar
– Otukpo/Ohimini — Hon. Blessing Onuh
– Apa/Agatu — Hon. Ojutu Ojuma
– Ado/Ogbadibo/Okpokwu — Hon. Anthony Agom
– Obi/Oju — Hon. Peter Oboh Egbodi

The Benue APC commended all aspirants, delegates, and stakeholders for their peaceful conduct and maturity during the exercise. The party congratulated the successful candidates and urged them to remain united and focused on securing victory for the APC in the 2027 general elections.
