The Benue Digital Infrastructure Company (BDIC) has entered into a strategic promotional partnership with renowned Benue-born actress, singer, and producer Edna Jones.
The collaboration, announced as part of activities commemorating Benue @50, aims to amplify the visibility of BDIC’s innovative digital products and services while empowering creative talents with the necessary digital tools. It also seeks to promote gender inclusivity, technology adoption, and opportunities for women in the creative sector.
Speaking on the partnership, Technical Assistant to the GMD and Head of the Media Unit at BDIC, Samson Dzungwe, stated that the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to supporting the creative ecosystem through innovation-driven partnerships that unlock opportunities for young talents across the state.
He noted that the partnership aligns with Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia’s vision of prioritising digital transformation, youth empowerment, innovation, and the growth of the creative economy.
Beyond promoting BDIC’s products, the collaboration is expected to build a digitally empowered generation of creators, innovators, entrepreneurs, and storytellers capable of showcasing Benue’s rich culture and talents to wider audiences.
The partnership forms part of BDIC’s special initiatives under the Benue @50 Golden Jubilee celebrations, investing in the digital future of the state’s people.
