APC Chieftain Iwodi Says Locals Involved in Benue South Insecurity

An APC chieftain, Iwodi, has described the insecurity in Benue South as very bad and dangerous to everyone, stressing that no one can escape its impact.

Speaking in an interview, Iwodi noted that the situation has reached a point where individuals must provide personal security just to travel to their homes or communities. He argued that the resources spent on such security measures could otherwise benefit families and local people.

Iwodi linked the problem partly to idle youth who turn to crime, saying when insecurity persists, some people still find ways to succeed. He insisted that local residents are involved in the attacks, declaring that strangers do not fall from heaven or hell to assault communities in the area.
