A social media post by Aloko Nachi Simon has gone viral in Benue State, sharply criticising Governor Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia for allegedly failing to fulfil several key promises made to his supporters.

In the post titled “Enough is Enough: We Will Speak in One Voice, Loud and Clear,” Simon listed four major grievances against the governor:

1. The unfulfilled promise of a university for their area, while one is reportedly being built in the governor’s hometown.
2. A promised bank that was instead established in the governor’s hometown.
3. The denial of a Vice Chancellor position to “their son,” who reportedly scored the highest and deserved the role.
4. The allocation of a senatorial ticket to the governor’s friend instead of honouring an earlier promise.

Simon stressed that the issue transcends politics, describing it as a matter of trust, fairness, and accountability to the people who believed in and supported Governor Alia. He declared that “Tyo is more supreme,” emphasising the supremacy of their collective voice, unity, and future.
