In a dramatic turn of events, Haakyav Tombu Peter, also known as Dubu Deli, has been arrested and charged with serious offenses following a series of conflicting petitions. According to the statement, Mr. Peter petitioned the Commissioner of Police this morning against individuals who allegedly attacked him yesterday and stole his handset at Judges Quarters. However, the situation escalated when he presented his petition at the police headquarters. Authorities met him with a counter-petition alleging that he had attacked the Secretary to the Government of the Federation’s (SGF) house in Makurdi with some unknown persons.

Peter was subsequently arrested and charged in magistrate court with offenses including terrorism and robbery.
