BSUTH Confirms Tsenzughul Moses Friday as Substantive Head of Public Relations and Protocol

The management of Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BSUTH), Makurdi, has officially confirmed Mr. Tsenzughul Moses Friday as the substantive Head of the Public Relations and Protocol Department, effective from Wednesday, December 7, 2026.

Mr. Tsenzughul, who has been serving in an acting capacity since December 11, 2024, following the appointment of the former head, Mr. Cephas Hough, as Permanent Secretary by Governor Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, joined BSUTH in 2012 as an Administrative Officer II. Through dedication, professionalism, and steady progression, he rose through the ranks, earning promotion to Chief Information Officer (CIO) in 2025 before assuming leadership of the crucial department.

Born on January 28, 1977, in Akamkpa, Cross River State, and hailing from Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State, Tsenzughul grew up primarily in military barracks as the son of a military officer. His early education took him across various Army Children Schools and Comprehensive Secondary Schools in locations including Owena Barracks, Akure, and later St. Gerald Catholic Day Secondary School in Katsina-Ala, where he built a strong foundation in discipline and leadership. He holds a Diploma, B.Sc, and M.Sc in Mass Communication from Benue State University and previously worked with the Benue State Internal Revenue Service and Benue State Television Corporation.

In his new role, Mr. Tsenzughul oversees media relations, patient information management, complaint resolution, staff orientation, and protocol services, all aimed at enhancing public trust, patient-centered care, and the overall corporate image of BSUTH.
