Escaped Snake Found in Kitchen in Makurdi, Benue

A startling incident unfolded this morning in the Konshisha street area of Makurdi, Benue State, near number 121. According to a report shared by D’naked Elder Zege’Orkw on Facebook, a resident named Vershima Shamo has been training snakes, one of which escaped and was discovered in a neighbor’s kitchen box.

The post, which has garnered over 15 reactions, raised concerns about the safety of the local community. Images accompanying the report show individuals handling two large snakes, believed to be the escaped reptile and possibly another from Shamo’s collection. The snakes, appearing to be pythons, were captured and are now under control, though the exact details of the incident remain unclear.
