Teaching Service Board Directs Defaulting Principals to Report for Annual School Census

The Benue State Teaching Service Board has directed principals of public secondary schools that failed to participate in the 2025/2026 Annual School Census to report to the Ministry of Education and Knowledge Management.

In a public notice signed by the Chief Information Officer, Comfort Dooga-Umande, the Board stated that the directive was issued on the instruction of the Executive Secretary, Hon. Bem Jacob Tseen, PhD.

Affected principals are required to present all relevant Annual School Census information and must comply on or before Thursday, 20th August 2026. The notice emphasised that no extension of time will be granted beyond the stipulated deadline.
