Construction work is ongoing at the 30-metre Gbemacha Bridge located at chainage 7+200 along the Ateku-Ikepenger road in Gboko, where precast concrete parapet walls are being installed. A total of seven parapet wall units are being fixed as part of the ongoing project.
The installation forms part of efforts to complete and enhance the bridge structure. Site activities show workers and heavy equipment, including a crane, engaged in lifting and positioning the concrete elements on the bridge deck.
The development has been highlighted as progress under the administration of Governor Hyacinth Alia in Benue State.
