Benue APC Mourns Former Lawmaker Hon. Joseph Hemen Boko

The Benue State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), under the leadership of State Chairman Hon. Chief Dr. Benjamin Omale, has mourned the death of Hon. Joseph Hemen Boko, a former member representing Kwande West in the Benue State House of Assembly and Chairman of the Kwande APC Elders Forum. In a press statement issued on Monday, August 10, 2026, the party described Hon. Boko as a loyal party man, grassroots leader and committed stakeholder of the APC in Kwande Local Government Area.

His service to the people of Kwande West and his contributions to the growth and unity of the party, particularly through his leadership of the Kwande APC Elders Forum, remain a reflection of his dedication, sacrifice and commitment to the APC and Benue at large. The party extended its deepest condolences to his immediate family, the people of Kwande LGA and the entire APC family in Benue State, praying that Almighty God grants them the strength and fortitude to bear the painful loss.

The Benue State APC further prayed that Almighty God grants the soul of Hon. Joseph Hemen Boko eternal rest and comfort to all those he left behind. The statement was signed by Benedict Yawe, State Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Benue State.
