Following the unanimous decision of the Council of Elders, the Executive Chairman of Otukpo Local Government Council, Hon. Prince Maxwell Ogiri, FCAI, has ratified the appointment of Mr. Owoicho Onum Okpe as the new Youth Leader of Ochito Ghana in Otukpo Local Government Area.
The Council of Elders formally presented Mr. Okpe and other newly appointed youth executives to Prince Ogiri at his residence in Otukpo on Thursday, expressing confidence in their capacity, character and commitment to effectively coordinate youth affairs and promote the progress of the community. In his response, the Council Chairman officially accepted and ratified the appointments, noting that the new leadership assumes office at a critical time when effective youth mobilization is essential to strengthening community vigilance, enhancing security and sustaining peace.
Prince Ogiri assured the new executives of his continued support and accessibility, while urging them to remain united, responsible and committed to the development of Ochito Ghana. He wished them a successful and impactful tenure.
The other newly appointed youth executives are Mr. John Ejeh as Vice Youth Leader, Mr. Godwin Anyebe as Secretary, Mr. Okoh Ojonye as Treasurer, Mr. Inalegwu Onwu as Speaker, Mr. Adah Audu as Public Relations Officer, Mrs. Ehi Usman as Chairlady, Mr. Friday Idakwo as Land Taskforce Chairman, Alhaji Agbara as Youth Taskforce Chairman, Mr. Igoche Onoja as Financial Secretary, and Mr. Omale Odeh as Auditor.
