BIPC Management Inspects Proposed Water Treatment Filtration System and Sedimentation Reservoir Site in Makurdi

The management of Benue Investment and Property Company (BIPC) has conducted an inspection of the proposed site for the construction of a water treatment filtration and sedimentation reservoir, a project designed to enhance water supply to the company’s subsidiaries as well as residents of Makurdi and surrounding communities.

The Group Managing Director of BIPC, Dr. Raymond Asemakaha, led other management staff on the inspection tour and stated that the initiative would help resolve water challenges currently facing some of the company’s strategic business units. According to Dr. Asemakaha, treated water from the reservoir is expected to serve BIPC-owned enterprises, including the brewery, BIPC Water, Bensono Concentrate Factory, and Benval Juice Factory, while also providing domestic water supply to Makurdi and its environs.

He assured that the management remains committed to the successful completion of the project, noting that the reservoir would boost productivity and improve operations across the company’s subsidiaries. Dr. Asemakaha further expressed appreciation for the commitment and support of the BIPC Board and the Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, toward the growth and development of BIPC.

The site for the proposed reservoir is located opposite the brewery in Makurdi. Reiterating the state’s economic direction, he remarked that Benue must be research-driven and position itself for economic growth, adding that the team is intentional about delivering results.
