Three APC Members from Ogbadibo LGA Die in Fatal Road Accident En Route to Zonal Congress

Three members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Ogbadibo Local Government Area of Benue State have lost their lives in a fatal road accident while travelling to Lafia, Nasarawa State, for the party’s North Central Zonal Congress.

The victims were part of a delegation heading for the APC zonal gathering when the crash occurred on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. The deceased were identified as Hon. Anawo Benjamin, Hon. Ogbe Enemari, and Hon. Abraham Enenche, all described as youth leaders within the party in Ogbadibo LGA.

Several other party members sustained varying degrees of injuries in the accident. They are currently receiving treatment at the Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BSUTH) in Makurdi.

The Benue State APC Chairman, Chief Benjamin Omale, expressed deep sorrow over the incident, describing it as a painful loss to the party. Similarly, Senator Abba Moro, representing Benue South Senatorial District, extended condolences to the bereaved families and wished the injured a quick recovery.

Both leaders urged party members to remain united during this period of mourning.

The tragic accident has cast a shadow over the APC’s zonal activities, with party faithful mourning the loss of three promising young leaders.
