Students of Fidei Polytechnic Gboko in Benue State have shut down the institution in a heavy protest against the management’s alleged delay in releasing results for the fourth set of postgraduate diploma (PGD) students.
The protest, which turned intense on Monday, saw students locking the school gates, burning tyres, and displaying placards as thick smoke billowed across the campus.
