Questions Raised Over Fate of Donated Life Jackets After Deadly Buruku Boat Mishap

Fresh questions have emerged following the boat mishap on River Buruku that claimed several lives, with residents asking what became of life jackets earlier donated to the local boat union.

According to a public inquiry circulating on social media, Rev. Anger PhD, Assistant General Secretary of the NKST Church, had freely donated life jackets to the boat union in Buruku. Images shared alongside the query show the clergyman holding orange life jackets and a group of people, including church officials, posing with newly received safety vests.
