Protest Erupts in Zaki-Biam Following the Burning of Two Children

Angry residents have taken to the streets in Zaki-Biam, Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State, to protest the tragic death of two teenage girls who were allegedly burnt to death in a domestic dispute.

The protest erupted on Monday following the incident in which a woman identified as Mbayeghe is accused of setting a hut ablaze, resulting in the deaths of the two daughters of her lover. Photos from the scene showed a large crowd gathered along the roads, with one image depicting a body covered on the ground amid the unrest.
