A B18-seater Pleasure Travels bus has been involved in a serious accident at Gudi Mada Board along the Akwanga-Keffi Expressway, sparking widespread concern across social media.

According to posts shared on Facebook by Queen Winifred Gurgur and the Benue Ambassadors of Tra… page within the last few hours, the crash occurred on the busy highway and has resulted in multiple fatalities. The posts, described as an “awareness post” and “JUST NOW,” urged members of the public with relatives who may have been travelling on the bus to immediately check on them. Both updates ended with condolences, stating “May the souls of the deceased rest in peace.”

Graphic images circulating alongside the reports show a white Pleasure Travels bus with visible damage at the scene, as well as victims lying on the ground near scattered luggage and bystanders. The posts have been widely shared with hashtags #viral and #Benue, suggesting the bus was likely operating a route connected to Benue State.
