Och’Otukpo Orders Herdsmen to Vacate Otukpo Land with Immediate Effect

The Och’Otukpo, the paramount traditional ruler of the Idoma people, has ordered herdsmen to immediately vacate Otukpo land following recent deadly attacks on communities in the area.

The directive comes amid heightened tension and public outcry after suspected armed herdsmen carried out attacks on Ugboju and Otukpo-Nobi communities, resulting in multiple deaths and injuries.
