A Nigerian cyclist, on a daring mission to ride from Nigeria to the United States, has resumed his transcontinental journey, departing Monrovia, Liberia, after a brief stopover. Now on Day 70 of his #NIG2USA expedition, the adventurer is cycling toward Sierra Leone, driven by a humanitarian cause to support orphans, vulnerable children, and internally displaced persons across Africa.

The cyclist expressed profound gratitude to the people of Liberia for their kindness and hospitality during his stay. Reflecting on the challenges ahead, he shared, “Before I began this journey, I knew the roads would be rough, the path tough, and there would be nights I’d cry in silence. Yet, with faith, courage, and the love of people like you, this dream keeps moving.”

During his time in Monrovia, he was met with open doors, meals, gifts, and encouragement, making the city feel like home. However, he emphasized that his mission transcends the adventure itself. “This is a humanitarian one—to give hope to orphans and displaced children across Africa,” he said, urging well-wishers to continue supporting the cause through donations on his GoFundMe page.
