MOAUM Issues Notice on NELFUND Loan Refunds for First Batch Beneficiaries

The management of Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University of Medical Sciences (MOAUM) has issued a notice to students who benefited from the first batch of the National Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) but are yet to receive their balance refunds. The update, released on September 27, 2025, at 11:57 AM by the MOAUM Student Union, addresses delays caused by discrepancies in bank details and matriculation numbers.

According to the Student Union leadership, affected students whose names appear on the published list are directed to visit the Student Union Secretariat starting tomorrow to submit their correct bank account details to the office of the Secretary-General. These details will be forwarded for processing by the bursary department.

The union clarified that there are two categories of affected students: those with errors in their bank account numbers, which the union will rectify and forward to the bursary, and those with issues related to matriculation numbers, which the bursary department is already addressing. The notice emphasized that the refund applies strictly to beneficiaries of the first batch of the NELFUND loan whose names are listed.

The update was signed by Comrade Stephen Ade, MOAUM Student Union PRO, signaling a proactive step to resolve the issue and ensure all eligible students receive their funds promptly.
