The Principal Special Assistant to the Governor of Benue State on Protocol and Wardrobe, Hon. Emmanuel Terungwa Lorbee, paid a strategic visit to the youths of Nongu in Mbatiav, Gboko Local Government Area, as part of his ongoing efforts to promote grassroots development and empowerment. The visit underscored a strong commitment to unity and progress under Governor Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Alia’s leadership.
During the interactive session, Hon. Lorbee encouraged the youths to remain patient and steadfast in their support for the Alia administration, assuring them that their sacrifices and loyalty would be rewarded. “Be patient, believe in the Alia-led government, and know that your own share of progress will surely come,” he said, emphasizing the importance of unity, patience, and belief in the ongoing transformation driven by the current administration.
As part of his youth engagement programs, Hon. Lorbee directed the youths to establish a six-man committee to organize the Alia The Better Unity Cup, aimed at uniting the youth in Nongu. The event showcased hope and renewed commitment to a better Benue under Governor Alia’s vision.
Speaking on behalf of the youth, Benjamin Kutse expressed deep appreciation for Hon. Lorbee’s consistent engagement with his roots and community. He praised the leader’s humility and commitment to grassroots empowerment, noting it as a rare and emulable quality. Kutse also extended gratitude to Governor Alia for giving Hon. Lorbee the opportunity to serve in his administration, affirming the community’s pride and support.
Also present was the APC Party Chairman of Annambe, Hemen Oliver, who commended Governor Alia for the visible and ongoing development efforts across the state. He reaffirmed his support, promising full mobilization for Alia’s re-election in 2027. Additionally, APC Youth Leader in Gboko, Tsetim Terfa Timothy (aka Dark Man), addressed the gathering, encouraging young people to remain steadfast in supporting Governor Alia, whom he described as a visionary leader committed to transforming Benue State.
The visit, accompanied by Atoo Jeremiah and the Alia the better teams led by Ephraim Norgba, served as motivation for attendees, reinforcing a growing grassroots movement in support of Governor Alia’s 2027 re-election bid.
