Hon. Iyortyom Names Key Roads After Tinubu, Dzuua in Buruku Infrastructure Push

The member representing Buruku Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Sekav Iyortyom, has named two newly constructed roads in his constituency after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his father, Dzuua Iyortyom, as part of ongoing efforts to recognise leadership and boost local infrastructure.

The announcement follows the completion of critical road projects facilitated by the lawmaker. The access route leading to the Buruku Local Government Secretariat has been officially named Bola Ahmed Tinubu Road in honour of the President’s contributions to national development and what Iyortyom described as his perceived support for initiatives in Benue State.

In a related development, another newly constructed road linking Mbagen Community Hospital and the Mbagen School of Science and Health Technology in Abwa Mbagen has been christened Dzuua Iyortyom Crescent. The naming recognises Dzuua Iyortyom’s lifelong commitment to the welfare and progress of the people of Buruku.

Hon. Iyortyom stated that the gestures reflect deep appreciation for both figures’ roles in leadership and community service. Residents of the affected areas have welcomed the developments, noting that the improved roads are expected to enhance access to healthcare services, administrative offices, and daily mobility while stimulating economic activities in the constituency.
