Guma LGA Chairman Hon. Maurice Orwough Condemns Herdsmen Attack on Abaushwa Community

The Executive Chairman of Guma Local Government Council, Hon. Maurice Orwough, has strongly condemned an attack on Abaushwa community in Ndzorov Council Ward of Guma Local Government Area by suspected herdsmen. The incident, which occurred on Monday, claimed the lives of innocent residents, left many others injured, and spread fear and destruction through the community.

Hon. Orwough described the attack as heartbreaking and unacceptable. He extended heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their loved ones and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.

The Chairman assured residents that security forces have already been deployed to Abaushwa to restore peace, protect lives and property, and prevent any further attacks. He urged the people to remain calm, cooperate fully with security agencies, and continue providing useful information that can assist in the ongoing fight against insecurity.
