Tensions in Benue State politics escalated today as Governor Hyacinth Alia personally oversaw the demolition of a structure initiated by the immediate past Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aondona DaJoh. The building, intended for the Assembly Commission, was located within the Assembly Quarters at Nyiman, Makurdi, says Asom D. Jerry.
