Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia emphasized the collective responsibility of rebuilding Benue during a fellowship dinner hosted by the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Saturday. The event, held in honor of prominent Benue sons and daughters ready to join the APC, brought together leaders from across party lines, the National Assembly, academia, public service, and grassroots communities.
Governor Alia highlighted the progress achieved so far and outlined future plans, reaffirming a shared vision for a greater Benue. He stressed that restoring the state’s dignity and driving sustainable development requires the support of all citizens, with every project, reform, and loan directed toward this common goal.
The governor expressed encouragement from the widespread endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope vision and the administration’s efforts in Benue. He welcomed the decision of diverse leaders to collaborate, viewing it as a powerful statement of the state’s resurgence. “Benue is rising again, and we are moving forward together,” Alia declared.
Looking beyond politics and the 2027 horizon, the governor underscored that the Benue project belongs to all, with a focus on service, development, and unity. The event marked a significant step toward fostering collaboration for the state’s future.
