A devastating road accident claimed the lives of four children on the evening of January 1, 2026, along Afia Road in Baa Stream near Saaor Village, Benue State.

Eyewitnesses described the crash as severe, with the four young victims dying instantly at the scene. Several other passengers sustained varying degrees of injury and were promptly rushed to nearby hospitals for urgent medical attention.
