Emmanuel Myam’s Journey from Nigeria to USA Reaches Liberia-Sierra Leone Border

In an inspiring feat of endurance and unity, the “Nig2USA on a Bicycle” journey marked its 72nd day with a monumental 150km ride from Monrovia, Liberia, to the border of Sierra Leone. This distance stands as the third-longest single-day stretch since the journey began, showcasing the unwavering determination of the rider.

The day’s highlight was the heartfelt tribute to the Sinkor Riders Icebreezy, a group of cyclists described as more than just riders—a family on wheels. Their support through rain, hills, and the toughest road stretches has been a testament to the power of unity, sacrifice, and brotherhood in Africa. “They never once slowed down their spirit,” the rider noted, calling them the kind of brothers everyone wishes to have.

Expressing deep gratitude, the rider thanked the Sinkor Riders, carrying their love and strength forward. As the journey pauses at the border, the rider is in the process of crossing into Sierra Leone, promising an update upon officially stepping into the new country.

Special appreciation was extended to the management of RLJ Kendeja Hotel for their support, with the rider expressing super gratitude. A fond farewell was also given to Liberia for its memories, love, hospitality, and brotherhood, with a promise to return. Looking ahead, the rider greeted Sierra Leone with optimism, proclaiming, “Together We Ride, Together We Rise. VIVA AFRICA!”
