The Speaker of the 10th Benue State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Berger Alfred Emberga, accompanied by principal officers, conducted an inspection tour of the ongoing renovation works at the Assembly complex on September 1, 2025. The visit underscored the Speaker’s commitment to ensuring the timely completion of the project.
During the tour, Rt. Hon. Emberga expressed satisfaction with the quality of work done so far but noted concerns about the slow pace of the construction process. He urged the contractors to expedite the work while maintaining high standards to ensure the facility is ready for use within the stipulated timeline.
The Speaker emphasized the importance of the Assembly complex as a critical institution for legislative activities and reiterated the 10th Assembly leadership’s commitment to providing a conducive environment for lawmakers and staff. He assured the public that the Assembly is closely monitoring the project’s progress to prevent delays.
