The Management of the Benue Printing and Publishing Corporation (BPPC) has issued a formal disclaimer and notice of disassociation concerning ongoing social media exchanges linking one of its staff members, who also serves as driver to the Managing Director, to certain online activities and controversies.
In a statement released on Saturday, the Corporation clarified that the views, comments, and actions circulating in connection with the social media saga are entirely personal to the individual concerned and do not represent the position, policy, values, or official communication of BPPC.
The statement further noted that the staff member does not possess access to official documents, confidential records, or sensitive corporate materials. It emphasized that any insinuation of institutional involvement should not be attributed to the Corporation without verified evidence.
BPPC, which operates with over 40 staff members each bearing personal responsibility for conduct outside official duties, formally dissociated itself, its management, and entire workforce from the matter. The Corporation urged the public to refrain from linking it or its leadership to the personal actions or online engagements of any individual staff member.
The statement reaffirmed BPPC’s commitment to professionalism, institutional integrity, and the effective delivery of its mandate to the people of Benue State. It was signed by the Media Officer on behalf of the Managing Director.
