Benue APC Announces Senatorial Primary Election Results

The Benue State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially announced the results of the party’s Senatorial Primary Elections held across the three Senatorial Districts of the state.

In a press release issued on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, the party stated that the primaries were conducted peacefully under the leadership of the National Assembly Primary Election Committee chaired by Alhaji Sabiu Mahuta, in line with the party’s guidelines and the provisions of the Electoral Act.

The results were formally announced by the Committee Chairman at the Conference Hall of the APC State Secretariat in Makurdi. The following aspirants emerged victorious in their respective districts:

– **Benue North East (Zone A)** – Senator Dr. Gabriel Torwua Suswam
– **Benue North West (Zone B)** – ACG (Rtd.) Benjamin Aber Terseer
– **Benue South (Zone C)** – Hon. Francis Otta Agbo

The Benue APC commended all aspirants, members, and stakeholders for their peaceful conduct, maturity, and commitment to the democratic process. The party congratulated the successful candidates and urged all members to remain united and work together towards victory in the forthcoming general elections.
