Benue ALGON Chairman Congratulates Hon. Iliyasu Zakari on Re-election as Niger State ALGON Leader

In a display of inter-state camaraderie among local government leaders, the Executive Chairman of Guma Local Government Council in Benue State and immediate past Chairman of the Benue State chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Hon. Maurice Orwough, has extended hearty congratulations to Hon. Iliyasu Zakari on his well-deserved re-election as Chairman of the ALGON Niger State Chapter.

The congratulatory message, issued on December 14, 2025, through Orwough’s Personal Assistant on Communication and Strategy, Ernest Tortiv, highlights Zakari’s victory as a resounding affirmation of his exemplary leadership, steadfast commitment to responsibilities, and the unwavering confidence reposed in him by his colleagues in Niger State.

Orwough described Zakari, who also serves as Chairman of Agwara Local Government Council, as a close friend with whom he shares a deep personal relationship and mutual respect.
