APC Youths Clash in Jato-Aka Over Kwande/Ushongo Primaries Materials

Tension escalated in Jato-Aka as All Progressives Congress (APC) youths clashed over the distribution of campaign materials ahead of the Kwande/Ushongo Federal House of Representatives primaries.

According to a Facebook post by Asom D Jerry, the confrontation broke out between supporters of Prof. Kohol Iornem and those of Hon. Terseer Ugbor. The materials in dispute were allegedly distributed by Tersugh Gbaa, a man from Jato-Aka.

Supporters of Prof. Kohol Iornem, including Young T, Doo-Oron Agogo, Zakeke and others, were reportedly involved on one side, while Fabian Terseer, Solomon Amande and other backers of Hon. Terseer Ugbor stood on the opposing side.

The incident, described as happening in real time, has been linked by the poster to broader political disagreements, specifically Governor Hyacinth Alia’s alleged disregard for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Dark images shared alongside the post show chaotic nighttime scenes with vehicle headlights and people moving in the area, suggesting unrest on the ground.
