Just when you thought the Benue social media cauldron couldn’t boil any hotter, CardiBlogger has tossed in a fresh log—this time aiming straight at activist Zege Orkwande’s personal ledger. In a post that’s ricocheting across Facebook groups and WhatsApp chats, the young blogger accused the self-styled “naked Elder” of abandoning family duties while preaching accountability to everyone else. The expose, timestamped 3:12 PM on November 3, 2025, comes barely hours after former gubernatorial aide Mkor Aondona’s legal threat, turning a simmering feud into a full-blown inferno.

CardiBlogger didn’t hold back. He branded Orkwande a hypocrite who “clashes online but neglects personal responsibilities,” hinting at a child left in the shadows while the activist wages digital wars. A photo of a young girl with a sad emoji plastered over her face accompanied the post, alongside a screenshot of what appears to be an old advert rates card for “Elder Zege Orkwande”—a subtle jab at the activist’s past hustle in media and PR. The message was clear: if you live by the keyboard, prepare to be judged by it.

The timing is no coincidence. Hours earlier, Aondona had warned Orkwande against threatening CardiBlogger, vowing “the highest arms of the law” for any criminal move. Now, the blogger has flipped the script, going from defense to offense. Benue Info-pedia, a popular local news page, amplified the drama with the headline “DRAMA UNFOLDS AS CARDIBLOGGER EXPOSES ZEGE ORKWANDE’S ALLEGED PAST,” racking up 18 likes and 7 comments in minutes. “This boy no dey fear o,” one user wrote. “Zege meet your match,” another crowed.

Orkwande, known for his fiery Tiv-language rants and unapologetic critiques of Benue’s political elite, has yet to respond publicly. But sources close to the activist say he’s “furious” and preparing a counterblast. “He feels this is a coordinated attack to tarnish his reputation,” one ally told me off-record. “But Zege doesn’t back down—he’ll address it in his own time.”

For CardiBlogger, this is more than a clapback; it’s a power play. The young man, whose real name remains a closely guarded secret, has morphed from a niche commentator into a central figure in Benue’s online coliseum. His supporters see him as a voice for the youth, unafraid to challenge elders who demand respect but dodge accountability. Critics, however, call it reckless mudslinging that risks crossing into defamation.

As the sun sets over Makurdi, one thing is undeniable: Benue’s social media landscape has become a battlefield where personal histories are ammunition and no one—elder, aide, or blogger—walks away unscathed. The next post could be a denial, a lawsuit, or another bombshell. In this game, silence isn’t an option.
