Dr. Philip Nongu, the outgoing Chairman of Lobi Stars Football Club, has expressed his heartfelt gratitude and reaffirmed his commitment to the club’s future as he steps down following the recent dissolution of the Management and Board by Governor Hyacinth Alia.

In a public message, Dr. Nongu advised the incoming team to work collaboratively to ensure effective performance, emphasizing that leadership, which he believes comes from God, should unite rather than divide. He extended his deepest appreciation to the players, technical crew, and administrative staff for their professionalism, commitment, and resilience during his tenure, noting that their collective dedication has been the foundation of the club’s successes.

Dr. Nongu reaffirmed his unshaken loyalty to His Excellency, Rev. Fr. He also committed to supporting and cooperating with the next appointed leader of Lobi Stars, stressing that progress is a continuum achievable only through harmonious efforts toward restoring the club’s glory and projecting Benue’s image through football.
