Once occupied by Fulani herdsmen, rendering the village uninhabitable, the area is now witnessing a transformation, marked by a recent condolence visit that fostered unity and shared meals.
Hon. Steve Numbeve, expressing his joy, shared his experience on a visit where he ate and drank with the community, signaling a return to normalcy. He extended his appreciation to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Benue State, Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, Executive Chairman Katsina Ala Local Government, Justine O Shaku Ph.D., and the entire Shittle and Ukum sons and daughters who have made this resurgence possible. “More grease to your elbow,” he added in encouragement.
